Hello –I’m Sasha landscape architect, baker, recipe developer, photographer and owner of Lively Bakery. Bedford Nova Scotia has been my home for the last 15 years. Lively Bakery began in 2012, then I suddenly developed a gluten problem and dairy allergy. Even with my love for cooking and baking, adopting new life style wasn’t easy. But I always believe that everything happens for a reason.
I baked my first gluten and dairy free cake for my birthday, I presented that recipe on CBC TV show “Recipe to Riches” and got my Golden Ticket, my recipe was named one of the 40 best recipes in Canada. 10 years later and 100s of developed and adopted recipes, I still learn every day, love that I do, and am still passionate about developing recipes free of gluten, dairy and refined sugar.
My goal from the very beginning was to create recipes which everybody will enjoy not just people with allergies. On this website you will find cakes for any occasion. All of my products are free of artificial colors and flavors, no preservatives as well. All of my baked goods can be frozen up to 2 months.
